MUSIC MINISTRY

The purpose of the youth group worship team is to use our youth's musical talents to lead others into worship. Sharing God's Word through music is a very personal experience for our youth. Marshall Dunbar and Tammy Steele have a great heart for worship and are leading this effort. The worship team plays contemporary worship music at both the youth group and are available upon request for other events. The name of our youth group band, "Torn in Two" comes from the book of Matthew 27: 50-51 during the death of Jesus. " And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He gave up His spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rock split."
